The Yolks - “I Found Love”
The Yolks are a Chicago band that remember that rock and roll came from rhythm and blues. Dude may not be the best singer in the world, and the lo-fi aesthetic lets you know it’s from this millenium, not 50 years ago, but this song captures what I like about this band. Also the first line is “She makes me scrambled eggs in the morning” and I love it when girls make me breakfast. It’s my favorite thing. An ex-girlfriend said it was some weird mommy-issue thing, but whatever. She never made me eggs in the morning.
